Qualifications

• Strong Ruby on Rails experience in production environments.
• Experience shipping production systems as part of a team.
• Familiarity with async and synchronous data-sharing patterns (pub/sub, RPC, caching) and when to use each.

Responsibilities

• Automate upgrades, monitoring, and operations across the platform.
• Build tools to enable self-serve for engineers.
• Develop reliable, scalable platforms and libraries.
• Collaborate with product, data, and infra teams on cross-cutting technical problems.
• Reduce operational overhead through close collaboration with infra.
• Advise engineering teams on communication and data-sharing patterns.
