Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and enhance the software powering nuclear medicine imaging consoles. You will collaborate with cross‑functional, global teams to deliver reliable, safe, and high‑performing solutions that support patient care.

In a regulated medical device environment, you will design, implement, and test software, contribute to documentation, and ensure quality and traceability across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional development experience (ideally using C#, .NET, WCF, WPF, etc. on Windows platforms).
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices, object‑Oriented design, and architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a cross‑functional development team to implement, test, debug, and peer‑review code for the console of a nuclear medicine imaging system.
• Writing and reviewing technical documentation to support software development and system integration.
• Designing, implementing, and executing unit and integration software tests to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Interfacing with internal partners (test engineering, systems engineering, product management, etc.) and external partners, including global teams in Germany and India.
• Adhering to established software quality processes and development standards.
