Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Finance) in the United States to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software for nuclear medicine imaging consoles. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant solutions in a regulated medical device environment.

The role requires hands-on work with C++ or C#, strong OO design knowledge, and the ability to operate across cross-functional teams and geographies.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of professional development experience (ideally using C#, .NET, WCF, WPF, etc. on Windows platforms)
• Excellent understanding of software engineering practices, OO design, and architecture principles
• Good working knowledge of multi-threaded application development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross-functional development team to implement, test, debug, and peer-review code for the console of a nuclear medicine imaging system.
• Write and review technical documentation to support software development and system integration.
• Design, implement, and execute unit and integration software tests to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Interface with internal and external partners, including global teams in Germany and India, and adhere to quality processes.
