Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Molecular Imaging division in the United States. You will develop software for imaging system consoles, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to quality, reliability, and safety-critical software used in clinical environments.

The role requires strong experience with C#/.NET or C++, OO design, and multi-threaded development, with a focus on producing maintainable, testable code and documentation.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional development experience using C#, .NET, WCF, WPF on Windows.
• Strong understanding of OO design and software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Implement, test, debug, and peer-review code for the console of a nuclear medicine imaging system.
• Write and review technical documentation to support software development and system integration.
• Design, implement, and execute unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Interface with internal partners (test/systems/product mgmt) and global teams across geographies.
• Adhere to established software quality processes and development standards.
