Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Molecular Imaging division in the United States. You will contribute to design, development, and delivery of software for imaging system consoles used in clinical environments worldwide.

Expect collaboration across global teams, adherence to quality processes, and ownership of meaningful software in safety-critical systems.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of professional development experience (ideally using C#, .NET, WCF, WPF, etc. on Windows platforms)
• Excellent understanding of software engineering practices, object-oriented design, and architecture principles
• Good working knowledge of multi-threaded application development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a cross-functional development team to implement, test, debug, and peer-review code for the console of a nuclear medicine imaging system.
• Writing and reviewing technical documentation to support software development and system integration.
• Designing, implementing, and executing unit and integration software tests to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Interfacing with internal partners (test engineering, systems engineering, product management, etc.) and external partners, including global teams in Germany and India.
• Adhering to established software quality processes and development standards.
