Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Software Engineer for Vehicle Management Systems. You will design trusted, safety-critical software and scalable vehicle subsystems, including sensor processing and state estimation, across multiple product lines.

Candidates must be proficient in C, have RTOS experience, and be eligible for a U.S. Secret clearance. Occasional travel to end-users and teams is expected, up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, CS, Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient at writing C.
• Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Familiar with communications buses and protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet, etc.).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement trusted, safety critical Vehicle Management Systems in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Design scalable vehicle sub-systems including sensor processing, state estimation, contingency management, actuation, payload interfaces, and mission systems interfaces.
• Contribute to the design and development of existing software components across Anduril, with the aim of developing components that are reusable across multiple Anduril product lines.
• Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users and/or other teams up to 20% of the time.
