Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) to deliver embedded, safety-critical software across our autonomous maritime platforms. You will own major subsystems, drive end-to-end design, and contribute to architecture with a focus on real-time performance and reliability.

You will develop on RTOS, craft device drivers for sensors and actuators, and mentor a diverse team of engineers while collaborating with hardware teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Robotics, Mechatronics, CS, Engineering).
• Proficient in C programming and RTOS environments.
• Strong systems programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency and optimization.
• Ability to own software components, engage stakeholders, and manage roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement trusted, safety-critical Vehicle Management Systems in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS and drivers for sensors/actuators.
• Create reusable software components across product lines and mentor junior engineers.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or teams.
