Boeing Employees Credit Union is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure software for member experiences. You will lead engineering workstreams, enforce code quality, and drive architectural decisions across teams in a dynamic, purpose-driven organization.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration with architects, product owners, and analysts, with opportunities to work across cloud platforms and modern tech stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related discipline required.
• Minimum five years of experience designing software and writing production code.
• Deep understanding of secure development practices with static analysis tools.
• Proven ability to deliver highly scalable solutions across multiple languages/environments.
• Expertise in one or more: .NET/C#, Node.js/JS, or Python.
• Experience with cloud (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud) technologies.
• Experience with SQL, ETL, data warehousing, analytics.
• CI/CD tooling and pipelines; Git-based workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams throughout SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure software delivering MDX priorities.
• Lead small to medium engineering workstreams and mentor developers.
• Drive code quality with reviews and maintainable design principles.
• Identify and implement technical improvements and greenfield initiatives.
• Contribute to architecture, roadmaps, and technical direction.
• Mentor junior developers and SDETs through pairing and knowledge sharing.
• Automate processes and optimize for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to align on technical direction.
• Ensure secure development practices and use of static analysis tools.
• Own the full SDLC from analysis to operational handoff.
• Work with data systems, datasets, migrations, and analytics workflows.
