Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Labor Management team in Lakeland, FL.

You will design, build, and deliver scalable labor management applications that forecast, track time, attendance, and scheduling, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals. The role requires deep expertise in .NET, SQL, React, Kafka, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years developing enterprise apps using .NET Framework in production.
• 1+ year experience with SQL, ORM, and query optimization.
• 1+ year experience building frontend with React and APIs.
• 1+ year agile experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable enterprise applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.
• Lead technical delivery across multiple initiatives while upholding standards.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Participate in Agile planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Develop Kafka-based integrations and real-time data processing.
