Job summary

Publix Super Markets, Inc. in Lakeland, FL seeks a senior full-stack software engineer to join Publix Technology. You will design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade web applications in a cross-functional Agile team, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability.

You translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, collaborate with UX/UI, and mentor junior developers while contributing to architecture decisions and cloud-based delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years full-stack web development with .NET Core / C#.
• 5+ years HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
• 5+ years OO analysis, design, and service-oriented architecture.
• 5+ years working with enterprise databases (SQL Server/Oracle/Teradata/DB2).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies.
• Convert requirements to technical design and high-quality solutions.
• Define development scope, estimates, and risks for product owner/manager.
• Collaborate with product owner and team to develop features with clear acceptance criteria.
• Lead technical knowledge transfers and code reviews.
