Job summary

Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Labor Management Time & Attendance. You will drive technical strategy, build scalable labor applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

Focus on React/.NET APIs, SQL databases, and Kafka integrations in a hybrid work model in Lakeland, FL. You’ll mentor engineers and help ensure high availability and performance across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related analytical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years using .NET Framework (8/9/10) in enterprise environments.
• 1+ year with SQL, ORM (Dapper/EF) for scalable apps.
• 1+ year frontend React.js with backend APIs.
• 1+ year Agile with Azure DevOps for backlog, sprints, CI/CD.
• Experience with Apache Kafka event-driven apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable applications, APIs, databases, and event-driven solutions using React, .NET, SQL, and Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and support enterprise applications.
• Lead technical delivery for multiple initiatives while upholding standards.
• Mentor engineers and participate in Agile planning and reviews.
• Develop and optimize Kafka-based data processing and integrations.
