Job summary

Publix Super Markets, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer with React to join the Facilities and Real Estate tech team in a flexible hybrid role (8 days per month in Lakeland, FL).

You will contribute to modernization of real estate systems using a modern stack, lead frontend and backend development, and mentor teammates while embracing a culture of continuous learning. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of full‑stack development with .NET, React.js, and modern frontend tooling, plus strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full-stack web development with .NET Core/Framework, C#, MVC, Web API and EF.
• 5+ years in frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• 5+ years designing enterprise solutions with OO analysis, patterns, UML, SOA.
• 5+ years working with SQL Server/Oracle/ Teradata etc. and complex queries.
• 3+ years building React.js apps with TypeScript/Next.js.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies.
• Translate requirements to technical designs and implement high-quality solutions.
• Define scope, estimates, and risks to product owner and manager.
• Collaborate with UX/UI to translate wireframes into code.
• Lead knowledge transfers and conduct peer code reviews.
• Support production in rotation and ensure security/compliance alignment.
