Job summary

Yusen Logistics Americas Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the US with deep full-stack experience across front-end and back-end systems. You will design scalable microservices, implement REST APIs, and collaborate with DevOps to automate testing and deployment.

Proficiency in .NET, Angular, SQL Server and NoSQL databases is required. This role emphasizes cloud-native patterns, container orchestration, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of software architecture and development experience with strong hands-on skills.
• 4+ years of experience with microservice architecture and building microservices with C#, preferably .NET Core 3.1 and/or .NET 5+.
• 4+ years of end-to-end integration solutions development for enterprise software or hosted services.
• 4+ years of modern web applications in Angular, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Expertise in .NET technologies, REST services and client-side integration via JSON.
• Advanced skills in relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases.
• Expertise in pub/sub data delivery models and ESB technologies.
• Experience with Docker/Containers/Kubernetes Service; Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Familiarity with UML concepts and Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and TDD.

Responsibilities

• Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, and performance analysis.
• Develop microservices that support high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with DevOps to define end-to-end automated testing and deployment solutions.
• Design and develop microservices using REST principles with security and quality focus.
• Develop high-quality extensible and reusable user interfaces leveraging modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Interface with stakeholders and teams to solve cross-functional problems.
• Work with SQL Server and NoSQL databases with strong T-SQL knowledge.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, SCRUM, and Retrospectives.
• Write unit, integration, and behavioral tests; optimize code.
• Experience with pub/sub, ESB, and enterprise service bus integrations.
