Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build full-stack web applications with a focus on microservices, scalability, and cloud-native patterns. You will work across front-end and back-end layers, implementing REST APIs and data-driven features for public-facing systems.

The role emphasizes learning and applying new technologies in a dynamic multinational business, collaborating with DevOps, testers, and various stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of software architecture and development experience with strong hands-on skills.
• 4+ years with microservice architecture and building microservices in C#, .NET Core / .NET 5+
• 4+ years delivering end-to-end integration for enterprise software or hosted services.
• 4+ years web apps using Angular, HTML5, CSS3 and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements, refine code metrics, and assess system risks.
• Develop microservices to support high availability and scalability with best practices.
• Collaborate with testers and DevOps to create end-to-end automated tests and deployments.
• Design and develop microservices using REST principles with security/quality focus.
• Develop extensible user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Interface with business, IT, PMs, leads, developers, and customers as needed.
• Work with SQL Server and NoSQL databases; perform data-driven optimizations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, SCRUM, Retrospectives).
• Write unit/integration/behavior tests; debug and optimize code.
• Experience with ESB, publish/subscribe integrations.
