You will define reference architectures, drive architectural governance, and mentor the systems engineering team while collaborating with software engineers and enterprise architects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; a Master's is a plus.
• 7-10+ years of experience in large-scale multi-server environments.
• Experience with Windows, UNIX/Linux, VMware and clustered systems.
• Hands-on cloud experience with Azure and AWS; hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Strong Kubernetes, containers, and DevOps with CI/CD.
• Ability to define reference architectures and roadmaps.
• Familiarity with SQL databases (MS SQL preferred).
• One or more certifications is highly desired.
• Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, secure reference architectures for compute, storage, virtualization, container, and cloud platforms.
• Develop a roadmap for infrastructure products aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Translate business requirements into physical designs tied to program success.
• Create and maintain standards, guidelines, and patterns across on-premise and cloud.
• Provide governance and architectural guidance; conduct reviews and key design decisions.
• Lead proof-of-concept efforts for cloud migration and containerization.
• Partner with software engineers and EA to ensure integrated operations.
• Ability to travel in different major US cities and abroad.
