Job summary

Yusen Logistics Americas Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Houston team and contribute to building scalable, cloud-native web applications.

You will work as a full stack engineer with emphasis on microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end technologies. The role requires strong experience in .NET, Angular, Docker/Kubernetes, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to design for high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of software architecture and development experience with strong hands-on skills.
• 4+ years of experience with microservice architecture and building microservices with C#, .NET Core 3.1 and/or .NET 5+.
• 4+ years of experience in implementing modern web applications in Angular, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Expertise in .NET technologies, REST services and client-side integration via JSON for APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices that support high availability, scalability, and parallel processing.
• Design and develop microservices using REST principles with security and quality as core focus.
• Develop high quality extensible and reusable user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with testers and DevOps to define end-to-end automated testing and deployment solutions.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, SCRUM, and Retrospectives.
