Job summary

Yusen Logistics Americas Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Jacksonville, FL or Houston, TX or Cordova, TN. The role focuses on full-stack development, microservices, and cloud-native patterns to drive scalable, high-availability services.

You will design RESTful APIs, build UI with modern JavaScript, and collaborate across IT, business, and product teams. You will contribute to Agile practices, implement tests, and work with both SQL Server and NoSQL databases while advancing DevOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 8+ years in software architecture and full stack development with strong OO design.
• 4+ years in microservices and C#/.NET Core 3.1+ for synchronous/asynchronous comms.
• 4+ years delivering end-to-end integration for enterprise software.
• 4+ years implementing modern web apps with Angular, HTML5, CSS3.
• Expertise in .NET tech, REST services and API integration.
• Experience with relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra/Redis).
• Strong knowledge of caching, scaling, and asynchronous patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices for high availability and high scalability.
• Work with DevOps to create automated testing and deployment solutions.
• Design RESTful microservices with security and quality in mind.
• Develop extensible front-ends using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with teams to solve complex cross-functional problems.
• Interface with Business, IT, PMs, leads, developers, and customers as needed.
• Handle SQL Server with T-SQL; work with NoSQL databases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning and SCRUM.
• Write unit, integration, and behavioral tests; debug and optimize code.
• Experience with ESB/pub-sub data delivery models and message buses.
