Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Elasticsearch - Analytical Engine team. This globally distributed, fully remote team builds analytics capabilities in Elasticsearch’s latest aggregation framework and the new ES|QL language.

As a senior contributor, you will design and implement features, fix bugs, and optimize performance across data structures, algorithms, and systems, while collaborating with UI and API teams and engaging with open source

Responsibilities

• Build data-intensive new features and fix bugs in Elasticsearch.

• Triage community issues and pull requests.
• Write idiomatic modern Java code.
