Qualifications
- Experience building high-performance, scalable database, search, or distributed systems.
- Strong focus on storage, indexing, query execution, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Java and concurrency primitives.
- Ability to design and optimize data structures and algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural evolution of core storage engine components to improve performance and scaling.
- Drive cross-organizational initiatives for observability solutions.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team on logs and metrics capabilities of Elasticsearch.
- Mentor engineers and act as a trusted technical advisor across the organization.
