You will work with a globally distributed team, driving architectural improvements, performance tuning, and scalable data layouts for time-series and logs workloads, all while contributing to the broader observability and AI-powered

Qualifications

• Experience building high-performance, scalable databases or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Java and concurrency primitives.
• Experience with storage and query engine design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural evolution of core storage engine components and resolve indexing bottlenecks.
• Drive cross-organizational initiatives for observability solutions.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team focused on logs and metrics in Elasticsearch.
• Introduce best practices for clean coding and architectural clarity across the platform.
• Serve as SME and mentor to the engineering organization.
• Triage, resolve, and review issues and PRs with domain experts.
