Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to support the AFLCMC/WAG program at Tinker AFB, OK. The role emphasizes software strategy, system requirements, and DoD contractor governance, with hands-on development and SAP/SCI experience.

Key requirements include a Top-Secret clearance, 10+ years in DoD engineering (or 15+ with a Bachelor's), and SAP experience within the last 8 years. Travel up to 10% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• In-depth DoD software engineering capabilities and security clearance.
• Active TS clearance with SCI and SAP access; willing to undergo reinvestigation.
• 10+ years in engineering roles for DoD or contractors; SAP experience in last 8 years.
• Hands-on software development or analysis experience required.
• Travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for acquisition, development and sustainment.
• Translate user requirements into system specs for software design and testing.
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment.
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and recommend fixes.
• Audit contractor software configuration and quality controls.
• Evaluate proposed design changes and conduct trade studies.
• Review system design software architecture and interoperability.
• Evaluate test plans and participate in testing activities.
• Support program and contract documentation development.
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals and risks.
