Job summary

Together AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Customer Insights team. You will design and ship features that let customers see, trace, and act on their activity, driving architecture and partnering with Data Platform and Observability teams to build robust data pipelines. You’ll own large system areas end-to-end and mentor peers.

You will work with a team that values open review, collaboration, and autonomous problem solving, shaping the future of visibility tooling for our customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and operating production distributed systems or customer-facing backend platforms.
• Experience designing and scaling data pipelines for high-volume ingestion and real-time querying.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, TypeScript, C++, or similar production languages.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship core features of Together's Customer Insights platform—systems customers rely on to see, trace, and act on their own activity.
• Drive the technical design for new capabilities, including architecture proposals and design docs.
• Partner with Data Platform and Observability teams to leverage core data stack for data collection and stream processing.
• Own significant areas of the system end-to-end—from design through implementation, testing, rollout, and long-term health.
• Write and maintain critical-path backend and product code used by multiple teams and customer-facing surfaces; identify risks and blockers early.
