Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale, CA, is building a next-generation Insights platform for physical AI. This high-ownership role focuses on ingestion, data reliability, and scalable query infrastructure used daily by engineers at top autonomous programs.

You will own data lakehouse governance, analytics dashboards, and agentic analytics, shaping the platform for years to come while collaborating across teams in an in-office environment with flexible remote options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in data infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Experience building production data infrastructure and distributed systems at scale.
• Strong backend fundamentals including API design, service reliability, and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Ingestion & Data Reliability: ensure correctness and freshness across diverse upstream sources.
• Query Critical Path: optimize latency and correctness of all queries.
• Dashboarding & Autonomy-Native Visualization: build analytics surfaces and domain-specific renderers.
• Agentic Analytics: enable natural language interfaces for data insights.
• Data Discoverability & Governance: enable data lineage and usage visibility.
• Dataset Lifecycle Management: maintain healthy data lakehouse as data volumes grow.
• Data Wrangling & Transformation: provide tooling for data prep and ETL workflows.
