Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Community Support Engineering team to build scalable frontend and backend systems powering the agent experience for billions of stays worldwide.

You will collaborate with product, design, ML, and other engineers, drive end-to-end features, ensure accessibility and performance, and mentor junior colleagues while shaping technical direction.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven ownership of end-to-end features and cross-team integrations.
• Strong front-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Fluency in HTML and CSS with accessibility focus.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and collaborating across product teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver features.
• Lead full development cycle from design to launch with testing and analytics.
• Build scalable frontend components and robust server-side APIs.
