Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 5 years' experience in design and programming large scale applications.
• Proven track record of delivering complex features end-to-end.
• 2 years mentoring mid to entry level engineers in a cross-functional squad.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate).
• RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0/JWT and microservices patterns.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle) and NoSQL stores (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• 3 years handling LLM APIs or AI-powered features; strong debugging skills.
• 3 years with Git and containerized runtimes (Docker, Kubernetes).
• 3 years with IDEs and CI/CD tools (Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins, etc.).
• Excellent teamwork, self-learning, and self-management; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing evaluation (test) of feature design and identify risks in architecture and performance.
• Distill requirements into implementation tasks and develop features accordingly.
• Ensure unit tests, automation, throughput, security and performance meet quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
• Guide feature design with Team Technical Architect and Lead; communicate risks.
• Maintain operation, deployment and sustainability considerations for features.
• Support planning, estimates, dependencies, risk areas, and sequencing tasks.
• Collaborate with partners and the wider Verint support organization to optimize delivery.
