Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale backend services. You will lead secure DevSecOps pipelines, modernize AWS-based applications, and drive geospatial integrations across critical systems.

The role requires deep Java/JavaScript/Python expertise, strong leadership, and experience with Agile/SAFe practices. You will mentor teams, shape coding standards, and collaborate with clients on complex technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility.
• 9–13 years of backend development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and/or Python.
• Proven leadership in DevSecOps adoption and Agile/SAFe frameworks.
• Advanced AWS expertise, including containerized deployment.
• Deep experience with geospatial systems and enterprise integration.
• Strong ability to plan, manage, and deliver complex technology assignments.
• Experience using GitLab for source control and CI/CD.
• Developing geospatial analysis functions in Python, Java, or C/C++/C#.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale backend services.
• Architect and optimize secure DevSecOps pipelines and automated tests.
• Migrate, scale, and modernize applications in AWS.
• Drive geospatial solution integration across enterprise apps.
• Define technical standards and coding guidelines.
• Supervise development teams and mentor engineers.
• Evaluate performance and drive project-wide improvements.
• Support proposals, white papers, and client briefings.
