Job summary
Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop cloud-native applications for mission-critical geospatial platforms. You will design, implement, and maintain interfaces, APIs, and microservices enabling analysts to securely discover and process geospatial data.
The role is hands-on across the full stack, from responsive web apps to scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (eligible for CI Poly).
- 8–11+ years in software development, system integration, or similar roles.
- Experience collaborating with customers or stakeholders in mission environments.
- Strong communication across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and GitLab or similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Build cloud-native microservices and backend services.
- Integrate with geospatial services and enterprise APIs.
- Develop automated testing pipelines and troubleshoot systems.
- Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Ensure implementation aligns with processes, standards, and mission objectives.
- Contribute to process documentation and integration patterns.
