Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop cloud-native applications for mission-critical geospatial platforms. You will design, implement, and maintain interfaces, APIs, and microservices enabling analysts to securely discover and process geospatial data.

The role is hands-on across the full stack, from responsive web apps to scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance (eligible for CI Poly).
8–11+ years in software development, system integration, or similar roles.
Experience collaborating with customers or stakeholders in mission environments.
Strong communication across technical and non-technical teams.
Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
Familiarity with Agile development practices and GitLab or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Design and develop modern web applications and RESTful APIs.
Build cloud-native microservices and backend services.
Integrate with geospatial services and enterprise APIs.
Develop automated testing pipelines and troubleshoot systems.
Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and stakeholders to refine requirements.
Ensure implementation aligns with processes, standards, and mission objectives.
Contribute to process documentation and integration patterns.
