Prompt.io Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the technology powering our platform.

You will own complex projects from design to production, shape architecture, and collaborate with Product to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. You will work across frontend, backend, and services, tackling performance, security, and maintainability while guiding the engineering team through thoughtful code reviews and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Experience building production SaaS or web applications.
• Strong experience with Java and modern server-side application development.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data-intensive apps.
• Experience developing and operating applications in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across a fully remote team.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable applications, services, and APIs.
• Own complex technical projects from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction of our SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with Product to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Design and build reusable services and patterns to improve code quality.
• Address performance, scalability, reliability, and security challenges.
• Work across front-end, back-end, and service layers as needed to solve problems.
• Make thoughtful tradeoffs between immediate needs and long-term maintainability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause solutions.
• Provide code reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharing to elevate the team.
• Contribute to improving engineering standards and processes.
