Job summary

BuildOps is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale product experiences and systems. The role spans frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations, with mentoring and AI-assisted development emphasis.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable software that impacts customers and business outcomes. You'll own end-to-end projects, improve engineering quality, and contribute to design reviews and architecture decisions in a fast-paced startup

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems at scale.
• Strong fundamentals across frontend and backend features and services.
• Experience building reliable APIs, services, and user-facing apps in modern production environments.
• Strong design instincts: decomposing complex problems into maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality product features across frontend and backend.
• Own projects through full lifecycle: design, rollout, monitoring, maintenance.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers to translate ambiguous problems into technical plans.
• Write clean, well-tested code with emphasis on reliability and extensibility.
• Build user-facing experiences and supporting APIs across client-service boundaries.
• Design systems with observability: metrics, dashboards, alerts, health checks.
