Prompt.io Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale our platform. You will own complex technical work, influence architecture, and partner with Product to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You will work across front-end, back-end, and services layers, tackle performance and security challenges, and mentor teammates while shipping meaningful features for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building production SaaS or web applications.
• Strong experience with Java and modern server-side development.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web apps.
• Strong API, microservices, distributed systems experience.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of architecture, design, testing, performance, security, and data protection.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems independently and communicate tradeoffs.
• Strong communication skills for a fully remote team.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable applications, services, and APIs.
• Own complex technical projects from design to production.
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction of the SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with Product to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Design reusable services and patterns to improve the codebase.
• Address performance, scalability, reliability, and security challenges.
• Work across front-end, back-end, and service layers as needed.
• Make thoughtful technical tradeoffs between immediate needs and long-term maintainability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause solutions.
• Provide code reviews, guidance, and knowledge sharing to elevate the team.
• Contribute to engineering standards, practices, and processes.
