Affirm is seeking a seasoned backend leader in Washington, DC to guide engineers in designing and implementing APIs for enterprise merchants. You will partner with product, design, and analytics to tackle complex technical challenges while ensuring high system availability and reliability.

Requirements include 4+ years of backend experience with Python or Kotlin, and hands-on work with distributed systems on AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
