Job summary

Affirm is seeking a backend engineering leader to own quarterly goals for the Powered by Affirm team and guide engineers through API design for enterprise merchants.

You will collaborate with product, design and analytics to tackle complex technical problems and ensure system availability across distributed services.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of experience in backend systems using Python or Kotlin.
• Proven track record of building distributed systems on AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
