Job summary

Affirm's Powered by Affim team seeks a seasoned backend engineer to own quarterly goals and guide engineers through the design and implementation of APIs for enterprise merchants.

You will collaborate with product, design, and analytics to solve complex backend problems while maintaining system availability and high quality, reliability, and performance across critical services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend experience in Python or Kotlin.
• Proven track record building distributed systems on AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Strong technical planning skills and ability to lead engineers through ambiguous technical challenges.
