The role emphasizes reliability, security, and governance, with collaboration across security and infrastructure to establish guardrails and tooling for production AI systems.

You will shape engineering standards and influence architecture across teams while improving developer experience for critical platform capabilities.

Formación

• 4+ years of backend system design and development using Python or Kotlin.
• Experience building highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with LLMs, agents, or AI frameworks in production environments.
• Strong understanding of AI infrastructure and its applications.
• Ability to define technical plans for significant features with elegant designs.
• Proficient in making substantial changes in large codebases with safe practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend (AI Platform) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will focus on building and scaling backend services that support AI workloads, with an emphasis on reliability, security, and operational excellence. You will partner closely with infrastructure and security teams to create the guardrails, governance, and tooling needed to support production AI systems. The position also offers the opportunity to shape engineering standards, influence architecture across teams, and improve the developer experience for critical platform capabilities.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $173,000 – $255,000 annually
