Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build, and own backend APIs, services, data models, and cloud applications. You will work with AI-assisted development tools to deliver secure and scalable systems and help shape architecture.

You will mentor engineers, improve deployment workflows, and enhance system performance while ensuring robust security practices and reliable production databases in AWS-based environments.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Substantial backend development expertise and hands-on use of AI coding assistants with the ability to validate their output.
• Experience with APIs, production databases, cloud deployment (preferably AWS), CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, and secure software practices.

Requirements:
