Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification with minimum 3+ years of applied software experience.
• Experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java and SQL within a large corporate environment.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile delivery practices.
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains services.
• Works independently across multiple applications/technologies for backend and full-stack delivery.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures constraints are met.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve delivery outcomes (CI/CD, testing, review).
• Leverages AI coding assistants with peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Uses data to develop reporting/visualizations from large datasets and informs architecture improvements.
• Participates in on-call rotations and drives incident resolution and root-cause remediation.
• Collaborates with stakeholders and partner teams in an agile environment.
• Continues ongoing skill development across multiple technical areas.
