Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III in AM Services to design and deliver market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way. You will contribute to backend and full-stack development, microservices, and data-driven improvements within a unified services ecosystem.

You will work with Java and SQL, participate in agile teams, and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance code quality and delivery speed in a robust financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in a professional setting.
• Experience with Java and SQL in large, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile delivery practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions including design, development, and debugging across backend and full-stack areas.
• Produce secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms/services.
• Work across multiple applications/technologies in distributed systems.
• Create architecture/design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.
• Apply CI/CD, automated testing, code review, and observability to improve delivery.
• Participate in on-call/support rotations and drive incident resolution.
