Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Asset & Wealth Management tech team in New Jersey. You will act as a senior contributor in an agile setting, delivering scalable, secure software solutions and APIs across complex business functions.

You will design and implement production-grade code, leverage AI-assisted development tools, and ensure quality through tests, peer reviews, and secure coding standards.

Qualifications

• Formal software engineering training and practical experience in design, development, testing, and operations.
• Experience with modern languages and database querying in a large corporate environment.
• Hands-on coding in Java with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
• Strong testing with JUnit/TestNG and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and debugging with non-routine problem solving.
• Produces high-quality production code and robust algorithms with reliable performance.
• Leverages AI-assisted development tools; validates outputs via reviews and tests.
