Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Software Development Engineer to advance the AI transformation of Customer Supporting activities. The role emphasizes ownership, software quality, and secure, scalable cloud services for customer support tooling.
You will mentor peers, design and deliver multiple tools for the support and engineering teams, and collaborate with CS, Engineering, QA, Product, Marketing, and HR to implement new features.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and update functionality for AI-automation tools for Customer Supporting activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience and increase efficiency on platforms used by customers.
- Engage internal teams and external stakeholders to implement features.
