Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer within the Amazon Customer Service organization, based in Seattle, WA. You will help reimagine content management in a Native AI-world, distilling large CS knowledge into actionable artifacts and powering customer service experiences globally.

Responsibilities include designing scalable distributed systems, collaborating across teams, and delivering high-impact software in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with REST API based services and full application stacks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software
