Job summary

Amazon in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the AI transformation of Customer Supporting activities. You will own the design, development, and delivery of tools and cloud services that support our customer support team and engineers.

You will mentor others, drive high-quality software, and collaborate with CS, Engineering, QA, Product, Marketing and HR to implement features that improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming in at least one language.
• 5+ years of leading design/architecture of systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or engineering lead.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and update tools and cloud services that provide AI-automation for Customer Supporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve user experience and information flow for platforms used by customers.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to implement features.
