Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Hawthorne is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer to own the design, development, and delivery of AI-assisted tools for Customer Supporting activities.

You will collaborate with CS, Eng, QA, Product, Marketing and HR to deliver scalable solutions that improve automation and information flow. The role requires 5+ years of professional software development, leadership experience, and a strong foundation in architecture, coding standards, reviews, and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and update functionality for the tools, systems, software, and sites that provides AI-automation for Customer Supporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve the user experience on platforms used by customers, as well as increase efficiency and informational flow.
• Engage internal teams (CS, Engineering, QA, Product, Marketing, HR, etc.) and external stakeholders for implementing features.
