Job summary

Trumid, a fintech leader in fixed income trading, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build core trading systems. You will join teams migrating workflows onto Aeron-based architecture and work within an AI-native engineering ecosystem where PRs are AI-written and AI-reviewed.

We seek experts in capital markets or electronic trading with strong system design, observability, and testing focus. Expect to influence architecture, scaling, and performance across services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in capital markets or trading workflows.
• Proficiency in JVM-based languages (Scala preferred).
• Experience designing scalable, low-latency distributed systems.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, FIX, Kafka, Aeron.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and Test protocols and features to meet requirements.
• Support and Maintain services for reliability and availability.
• Optimize performance for low latency and high throughput in trading systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects.
