Job summary

Broadcom, featured in VMware Cloud Foundation, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to drive operations and management features for private cloud environments. You will own architecture, design, and implementation, delivering high-quality software in an agile setting.

You will learn new technologies, participate across all development phases, and collaborate with distributed teams. Requires 8+ years in CS, ADLC experience, and strong Java stack skills.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-grade agentic applications and multi-agent architectures.
• Experience with AI-driven development life cycle (ADLC) and spec-driven development.
• Strong backend skills in Java, Spring, Hibernate; knowledge of databases.

Responsibilities

• Research & evaluate new technologies for building features.
• Participate in architectural design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers on technology, design, and coding practices.
