Job summary
Broadcom is seeking a senior system software engineer to design and implement enhancements for the converged appliance platform enabling VCF on a single model. You will collaborate with architects and technical leads to deliver software across management, control, and data planes, with on-call duties and strong emphasis on code quality and performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience; master's degree with 6+ years or PhD with 3+ years is typical.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enhancements in VCF and related areas.
- Develop system software in Java, Go, Python.
- Full stack development including REST APIs.
- Participate in service ownership, monitoring, and triage for SLOs.
- Contribute to on-call rotation and operational support.
- Improve management, control and data plane components.
- Maintain CI pipelines and perform code reviews.
- Develop reusable cross-OS components.
