Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, based in San Francisco. We hire engineers who will build AI voice, chat, and messaging experiences across voice, text, and screen.

You will own the global telephony stack, work across backend, infra, mobile, and web, and ship production-grade systems used by millions of users. You will contribute to ChatKit across iOS, Android, and web, and help design safe, scalable personal agent protocols while collaborating with world-class teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience building production systems.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Build the global telephony stack (SIP, WebRTC) and agent routing across channels.
• Develop and maintain a scalable backend for AI voice, chat, and messaging agents.
• Contribute to ChatKit integration for iOS, Android, and web in customer flagship apps.
• Own end-to-end reliability, latency, and security across multi-modal experiences.
• Collaborate across backend, infra, mobile and web to ship features.
