AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Software Architect to assess the platform architecture and define a target-state design for an FDA-regulated SaaS product. The role demands a senior technical leader who can mentor remote engineers and drive architecture across PHP, C++, and JavaScript.

You will shape the target architecture, ensure regulatory compliance, and elevate CI/CD and deployment practices while maintaining strict security and audit readiness.

Qualificações

• Authorization to work in the US is required.
• Proven leadership as a senior architect or principal engineer.
• 8+ years building or architecting in PHP, C++, or JavaScript.
• Strong grounding in SOLID and GRASP design principles.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Assess current architecture, data flows, and debt to identify scalability constraints.
• Define a target-state architecture aligned with DDD and clean architecture principles.
• Design denormalized storage to speed read-heavy queries with trade-off analysis.
• Lead phased architectural roadmap and refactor legacy components with backward compatibility.
• Establish standards, coding guidelines, and decision-making processes.
• Provide hands-on leadership to a mixed-technology team (PHP, C++, JS).
• Improve CI/CD, testing, and release processes and mentor peers.
