Job summary

The Salvation Army in Florida seeks a qualified Social Services Manager to supervise day-to-day operations at the Arcadia and Port Charlotte locations. You will lead program staff, oversee case management, eligibility decisions, and referrals, while ensuring accurate, confidential records and HMIS data entry.

Travel up to 25% is possible as you build community partnerships, secure resources, and coordinate funding requests. A Master’s in Social Work plus supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• Four years of progressively responsible social services experience, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day social service operations at two locations.
• Lead program staff and oversee case management and data entry.
• Identify funding opportunities; prepare grants; monitor budgets and reports.
• Ensure HMIS and Pathway of Hope data entry and program compliance.
