Pacer Group is seeking a Senior Security Operations Center Analyst (Detection Engineering & Threat Response) to work remotely in the United States on a six-month contract. This role emphasizes day-to-day security analysis, rapid incident response, and the development of automated detection and response workflows.

The successful candidate will report to SOC leadership, translate threat data into actionable executive insights, and contribute to risk reporting and compliance metrics such as NCSC

• Perform day-to-day security analysis operations, rapid incident response, and proactive threat mitigation across critical enterprise assets.
• Develop, implement, and optimize detection logic, playbooks, and automated response workflows to increase operational efficiency.
• Continuously assess and enhance SOC processes and procedures to align with evolving threat landscapes and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to analyze emerging risks and integrate relevant TTPs into operational workflows.
• Deliver executive-level reporting, risk assessments, and compliance metrics (e.g., NCSC, Cyber Essentials Plus) to maintain visibility and governance.
