Prestige Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Detection and Response Analyst to join a cybersecurity team supporting regional security operations. The role involves maintaining 24x7 monitoring, threat analysis, incident triage, and contributing to the overall security posture of a growing global organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Security Operations monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field preferred.
• Experience with tools like Sentinel, Splunk, and firewalls; familiarity with IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of threat landscape, risk assessment, and web app security fundamentals.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as GCIA, GCFA, GCIH, CASP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for security incidents and provide feedback to improve monitoring.
• Lead and mentor incident detection team members.
• Triage and analyze security incidents using cyber threat intel and IDS/IPS.
• Maintain understanding of evolving cyber threats including malware and phishing.
• Support 24x7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations.
• Develop and tune security tools; create reports and playbooks.
• Assist in containment, remediation and coordination during incidents.
